Booking & Payment
A R10000 booking fee is payable before any date will be booked for a wedding or event. Payment thereof secures your date and will serve as a breakage deposit. The amount or remainder thereof will be refunded after the wedding or event.
If under extreme circumstances your wedding or event can’t take place on the planned date, we will move it to another available date — penalties may apply.
Should you cancel your wedding or event for any given reason, you will forfeit your deposit.
All outstanding balances are to be settled in full 21 days prior to the wedding or event.
Lombardini has the right to cancel any wedding or event should the invoice not be settled in full 21 days prior.
Important Information
Lombardini reserves the right of admission.
No smoking will be allowed inside any of the buildings. Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol or beverages onto Lombardini property.
Should these terms not be adhered to, a R10,000 penalty will be charged to your bill and the wedding/event will be stopped immediately.
Champagne and wine for the wedding/event must be arranged with your coordinator prior to the wedding/event, and corkage must be paid. Corkage fee is R80 per bottle.
Neither Lombardini nor any of its staff will be held liable for any loss or injury as a result of negligence or any other cause. This also applies to any accidents or injuries that may occur during or after the wedding/event. Lombardini will not be held responsible for any death, loss, or injury incurred on our premises.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Lombardini does not allow outside catering.
Final menu selection and final timeline/program for the wedding/event is required 3 weeks prior to your wedding/event. The final number of attendees is required 3 weeks prior to the event.
Candles are not to be placed directly on linens supplied by Lombardini.
Lombardini takes no responsibility for outdoor events, and the client remains responsible for any costs involved should a radical shift in weather occur.
The venue will close strictly at 16:00 the day prior to the wedding/event. Thus, any and all decorations, setup, flowers by the client must be finalised prior to then. An exception will be made for cake delivery on the day of the wedding/event.
All breakages and damages to Lombardini property will either be deducted from the deposit or will be charged to the bill and paid by the client.
No changes will be made to tables, settings, or the venue after 12:00 the day prior to the wedding/event.
The venue will be available to the client on the day of the event until 00:00. Every hour or any portion thereof will be charged at R2500 directly to the client.
A generator is available on site. Should there be a power outage during the ceremony and/or reception, the generator will start automatically at no extra cost. Should the client wish to run the generator outside of ceremony or reception time, there will be a R3000 fee per hour for the use of the generator for the client’s account.
Menu and food quotes/prices are subject to availability and escalation of general food prices. All quotes are valid for a maximum of 30 days.
Lombardini will do 2 viewings and 1 detailed meeting at no cost. Additional viewings/detailed meetings will be charged at R450 and will be added to the final invoice.
